Oh no… I can’t stand them!

When I say I am fond of many people, I should also admit that there are people whom I cannot stand even a bit. Like...
  • I cannot stand people who spit on roads. Slap them please! And you have to believe me when I say there are people who even pee in the apartment elevators. How filthy is that?!
  • I cannot stand parents who bring their noisy children to theaters. Wonder why they need to be such sadists to not let others watch the cinema in peace.
  • I cannot stand people who write Raju + Radha on public properties. How annoying is to find such stupid names inside creepy hearts even on monuments.
  • I cannot stand those bloody oglers. Every time, I feel like scooping their eye balls out with a swiss knife.
  • I cannot stand people who speak loudly on their mobile phone inside trains. Do they realize that nobody is interested in knowing their business deals or extra marital affairs?
  • I cannot stand people who gulp down all the food with no consideration for others. Probably they don't know that there are others too barely surviving in the same planet.
  • I cannot stand people who shower gyan on me all the time. A little bit of it is tolerable; but I wonder makes them think I am dying for they advice so that I can prosper in life!
  • I cannot stand people who decide my physical attributes. They have a problem when I am plump; they also have a problem when I am skinny. My life. My looks. I decide. Period.
  • I cannot stand those who dig their nose. That doesn't make you Mr. Bean, alright? Worse are those who poke their nose into my life. Look you Nosy Parkers, mind your own bloody business!
  • I cannot stand people who misspell my name. And even those who say pand for pant and mangey for monkey. Don’t get me wrong; I don’t have anything against those simble people dringing joos :p

So, who will be in your list? It will be interesting to know.

PS: This post is part of the Write Tribe Festival of Words 2. The challenge is seven posts in seven days and this is the sixth one in the series, on the theme People.

Very very interesting read! And funny! But yes, good points. I think we somehow think alike (Regarding our posts)...:)

I do some of these things myself, like 'giving gyaan' through my posts and comments like these, and saying this like 'having cowfee in collech' and things like that.

Maybe you will hate me as well :D

Nice post.

Ohh...I am so sad, because I'm at fault in some of these. I do take my noisy children to the theatres, because there's no one back home to look after them. :-? Please don't tell me that I'm not supposed to buy a movie ticket at all. Also, I do 'dring joos'. :-P

So sorry to know that you hate me. :-D

"...dringing joos" I wonder which great man taught you that last word!

My list:
1. I don't like people who come up to you just for getting gossip on others. I value my privacy and the privacy of those who trust me a lot.
2. I don't like people who use their superiority to dominate those below them.
3. Liars... its okay if its small fibs for a genuine reason/fear but when its to deliberately cheat, that gets me mad.
4. Godmen... for obvious reasons. :)
5. Spoilt brats and parents who indulge their kids even when they know they are doing something wrong. I've seen a mother laugh and giggle when her 7 yr old son threw a tennis ball at pointblank range at a small girl's nose, drawing blood. One of the few times I really wished I was the type who had it in him to raise his hand and trash someone.
6. People who eat so much food and still stay thin... again for obvious reasons!!! grrr

And yes, your and Tarang's wavelengths were pretty similar today morning :D

@pratikshya - glad that you agree.

@tarang - yeah... we are from the same school of thought :)

@jairam - I don't mind people giving gyan online. If have an option to read or skip. But the problem is when people do it on face. Some even advice me on where to work and at what to wear!!!

Pink Mango Tree said...

@me-er -- thanks!! Hmmm... I shall remember this next time I talk while eating :p

@rekha - I only have a problem if they disturb others. These days every movie comes on TV within a month and even DVDs are available quickly. My son is 2 and half years old; I have never taken him to a theatre yet! :)

All of the above categories of people you mentioned, totally agree... I can't stand who do not have good eating manners, and sometimes have a war on their plates with their cutlery! little things.. but those make friends or do not..

BTW you have a post itself in the comment section and my fav is obviously the last one. My husband too can't stand such people :p

Pink Mango Tree said...

Oh! I am now so Tempded to give you gyan Ping Maango :P

Ok, Jokes aside. I agree with many of your peeves, especially the ones pee and defecating in public utility places and the talking loud into the cell phone in public places, especially the toilets! God! that makes me annoyed. And heres a few that I cant stand 1. Pathalogical Liars, and dishonesty in general. 2. Manipulative people, the kind who are passive aggressive or try to get their way come hell or high water or take unfair advantage of others kindness, compassion or generosity 3. People who look Down or Up at others. I understand Respect or Admiration, but I cant understand putting someone on the pedestal. 4. Gossiping about others, if you cant tell them to their face and face up to the consequences, why waste energy trying to get validation/votes for an opinion? 5. People who don't fight a fair battle in their own level but choose to stomp someone easy to stomp on. 6. Lack of consideration for others.

Well well that was one good set. But tell me if these people are not there what would happen to teh story tellers? Where would we get our entertainment from :D :D But yes I know what you mean especially those who spit!

Oh I absolutely cannot stand those you listed out, apart from last 3. I might not be able to relate to.. or I don't entirely understand what you are describing. But, the ones other than last 3, I am confident I hate just as much, or more...
